for all this time I thought that it was in South America until I finally tried to find it on the map and saw that it was in Central America!

I'm so excited about everyone who's on for the Belize trip. Just a reminder to make sure you're doing those follow-up calls to people you sent support letters to or even told about the trip.

This is going to be an amazing trip and God is already stirring the hearts of the people in Belize. Our contact there, Nathan Goldtooth, has already broadcast over his radio station down there that Fusion from Atl is coming... so people get ready.

Hello everyone. I just spoke with Nathan and he's fired up about us coming down. We put together a video of the city and the church. Check it out.

(Thanks Jose)

Well Wilson...
I have been blessed enough to have a lot of luck with fundraising. I hope I can give you not only a few tips but a little inspiration to think outside the box. Before I give you any ideas you need to have a few things straight.

First; why are you going? If you can’t answer that question for yourself then won’t be able to answer it when asked by others. You have to have your vision and passion for going boiled to a few easy to understand sentences. People have heard all the Christian catch phrases and Missions slogans out there. “I’m going to change the world.” The best way to get people to do what you want them to do isn’t to tell them, it isn’t to ask them… it’s to inspire them. Long after the sense of duty or Christian obligation has worn off… inspiration still motivates. You have to pull that thing that’s deep inside of you… calling you to the field… out for the world to see. People will give their time, energy and resources to a man who’s passionate about what he’s doing. First things first… Let what’s burning inside show on the outside.

After you've got that down you're ready for some "out of the box" ideas. Here are some things I've done in past years and some newbie I'm still working on.

(Remember. It takes money to make money so don’t be afraid to spend some cash on your vision.)

1. Hold a walk-a-thon. (I raised a lot of support this way)
2. Use E-Bay and Pay-pal to accept online donation. (Easy for the giver to give)
3. Sale cookies
4. Garage Sale
5. Auction yourself out for a day
6. Clean houses
7. Takes pictures of “need” around the city and sell them for “donations”
8. Have putt-putt golf tournaments
9. Host your own website to receive donations
10.
11.
12.
13.

The list could go on and on. Anyone else have ideas.
