The trip was great. Mike & Deborah (missionaries over there) are awesome as always and we got to do some really cool stuff...soccer clinics for kids, construction, teaching kids, health clinic, praying for sick people, & talking with college student leaders...oh, and we ate a lot of gallo pinto! That's a fancy Spanish word that means black beans & rice!
I'll let some of the other people who went on the trip give some specifics. But suffice it to say that the trip went great. We had 21 people go & for about half of those, this was their 1st time mission trip!

This was my first mission trip...and it was amazing!! Everything about it. Just being able to go down there and pay attention to the kids. You could tell that most of these kids didn't get much attention usually, so us just playing with them and spending time with them clearly meant a lot. There were excited when we arrived and sad when we left. Being able to get them medicine and show them that God has not forgotten about them was priceless. This was a great experience and I can't wait to go on more mission trips in the near future.
