5AM Club.......

Postby cjmoon9 on Fri Mar 07, 2008 12:16 pm

Well me and a few other guys thought it would be cool to post a 5am club!

What is the 5am club.............. well its when you get up and give your first to the Lord! Your time!(prayer/the Word) Start off being proactive instead of reactive.

So we thought this could be encouraging to others who may have being thinking or wanting to get up. Having support helps and may give purpose!
Know that their are 3 guys getting up, now WHAT IF it was 5, 10, 50, 100,
200000 etc. How do you think your life could change and even this generation!! This is for women and definitely MEN :D

Wow that is awesome Jenny I know someone else that wanted to start doing that so its definatly the Lord put this on your heart. So what does it look like are you going to be on the phone with one another or just getting up at 5am knowing their is other people praying with you?

I'm game. I say we all hit the Forum. It has a time stamp on your post. We could see each other’s post and know (as long as you don't go back to sleep) that others are up ... praying with you.

What do ya say?!?

5AM Club.......

Postby cjmoon9 on Fri Mar 07, 2008 2:07 pm

Sounds great !!! I had someone calling me at 5am till I was able to GET UP and now he randomly calls just to check up on me. You know the rule of thumb 14 days to break a bad habit and 21 days to develop a new one.
If thats it ...I usually butcher up sayings.... what ever. I think its true cause I just started waking up.

So just checking in is on the forum is great, way for accoutablity.
And share how its going, cause their will be some life change if your true to it! Iam down fo sure checking in.

I would just encoaurage others to be faithfully and not go back to sleep, it will be hard at first, and maybe you may need for some one to call you.
That will be bewteen you and the Lord.

I REALLY THINK WE CAN ENCOURSGE OTHERS THROUGH OUR TESTIMONIES!!!

C Moon, this whole 5am trip is awesome. I really have appreciated receiving your "way-key, way-key" calls and knowing that there are others praying along side me at such a blessed hour of the morning. Im still working on revising my daily prayer for freedom. 5am Club..woo hoo!

Yah, I think the phone call idea is the best way to go. Just grab 1 or 2 other people and call each other @ 5am. Everybody call everybody @ 5am so there's no chance that everyone will oversleep!

Calling does help. For all that are truely serious, start exchanging nubmers!! Lets make it a max of 4 calls per person anything more is just waking up and calling people instead of you spending time in the word and prayer.

Also the 5AM club exist for people to get up and starting off the day in the word and prayer, which means it does nessesary mean you have get up at 5am. I know people have different jobs etc. JUST GIVING YOUR FRIST TIME TO THE LORD WHICH WILL MAKE A DIFFFERENCES IN YOUR LIFE, THEN THE OTHER BENEFITS TO COME IS WHAT CAN HAPPEN FROM THAT..... ITS WHERE THE WHAT IF COMES IN.
I already call two people.......
