Anybody read these books........

Postby mistergwilson on Tue Jan 15, 2008 3:22 pm

I am currently reading The Five Love Languages for Singles and I think it is a great book that is beneficial for anyone in any kind of relationship. I have also read Sex God and my favorite I Kissed Dating Goodbye. I just wanted to know if anybody else read these books and if they had applied them to their relationships. Or if anyone had any other books that they read that were based on relationships or love.

A nice lady at church (Atlanta) bought me a book titled Love, Sex, and Lasting Relationships by Chip Ingram. At the time, I was reading another book so I decided to let a friend borrow it. She hasn't returned it... yet... 8)

I've got about 30-35 books on this topic...no really, not kidding. The next time I'm in my office, I'll post all the names.

Greg! 6 books bruh?

You are a good one... My mind would have me so confused. For those that know what books i have been reading and I had to do book report?

It would go something like this...

I got some awesome revelation from what I read. Basically what I got from this book is : Not to worry because God takes care of the ewe's on the other side of the fence and he healed the man that stabbed Miss. Gad-About even though it took him awhile to apply his faith. Faith comes by hearing the rustlers, and hearing by the word of the Horizon. Now thats what I call a purpose driven chicken that ate the soup for my soul. I shall not want anymore!

Wow, if i really thought that, i would be a lost cause.

Thats combining the books i am or have currently read...
The Lord is my Sheperd
Christ the Healer
Horizons Unlimited
Purpose Driven Life Devotional
Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul

Yeah Greg maybe slow up on the simultaneous reading.

Ahhhhhhh......books. I love books. I’m one of those weird people who’s not allowed to take a credit card into anything that resembles a bookstore  . Anything by Joshua Harris is great. I Kissed Dating Goodbye was good, and he has many more books out (Boy Meets Girl, Sex Isn’t the Problem Lust Is). Great stuff. If you want to read a relationship book that will rock your world, check out When God Writes Your Love Story by Eric and Leslie Ludy. Crazy stuff man! They took purity and honor to a new level…

There's a book I'm reading right now called "Wild at Heart" someone highly recommended it to me. And I read a great book a few years back called "Maximized Manhood."

- I Kissed Dating Goodbye
- The UnGuide to Dating
- Boy Meets Girl: say hello to courtship
- Soul Virgins
- Undressed: The naked truth about love, sex, and dating

More to come...

Yeah I like all of Joshua Harris' books. I think he was one of the first Christian authors that I started reading.
