Don't know if y'all saw this or not, but it's something good to be made aware of. It's a pretty strong statement in an article by eHarmony that is very anti-Christ. They sent out an article last week called "Navigating the One Night Stand." A quote from the article is,
While most of us are looking for that special someone to spend our lives with, the single life dictates that sometimes the opportunity for companionship presents itself in the form of a one-night stand. While a one-time roll in the hay isn't exactly emotionally fulfilling, sex in any form can be relaxing, enjoyable, and fun.
Apparently the article went on to talk about 'when you're supposed to call someone after a one night stand' and other etiquette. After a HUGE lashback, they pulled the article from their website & I can't find the whole article anywhere online. They then posted this apology,
...We apologize to anyone who read the column and found it inappropriate...
That's one of those, "We apologize if you were offended" pseudo-apologies. I did some looking & they have a lot of stuff like this on their site. Another one of their articles is "How to Fan the Flames of Desire" :: http://advice.eharmony.com/?page=articles/view&AID=1755. The opening line is,
You meet that special someone. You talk, you date, oh and did I mention that you two have amazing chemistry in the bedroom! As time goes by though, that chemistry seems to fizzle and what was once amazing is now…well…a little boring.
I just thought you guys would want to be made aware of this if you didn't already know...just so no one is fooled into thinking this is a Christian site, offering Christ-like advice to people in this stage of life.
