I'm sitting at home with the flu so I have to hear what y'all thought of tonight! What did God speak to you about through Avery's message?

Wow! I'll go first since I'm up early. :) Avery's message was one of those "wow" messages. All I could hear the Holy Spirit saying to me was, "Wait on my plan, wait on my plan... I got you." I'm one of those people who always has a plan. If nothing's happening I want to make a move and if it doesn't work, I want to make another move. Sometimes, I wait for God, other times I get anxious.

Avery blew my mind when he connected the appearance of Satan in heaven alongside the counsel of God discussing Job and King Ahab to the enemy's propensity for setting up traps ahead of us as we pursue God's plan. It seems as though the enemy can see where we're going and does all he can to distract us. It's like he's always minding God's business as He prepares His plans for us.

The enemy can't stop God's plan but he can surely get us out of it. As a result, while we're distracted, the plan goes on without us and until we return to the plan, nothing really works. I needed that for my own life and I have already chosen to implement it. Avery's illustration of the war room where God plots our individual lives really blessed me. Jeremiah 29:11 is an amazing verse.

Thanks Johnson for giving Avery the opportunity and thanks Avery for hearing from God.
You never give up until God says it's over!

Avery message was right on time for me, and it was a reminder of what God revealed to me before. Your identity is so rooted in Christ and its so important that we find our idenity in him so that we will know our calling. Ephesians 1:1-16-19 Everyday I confess Jermiah 29:11 Over myself to remind myself that God has good plans for me. This issue has been burning my heart in prayer because 20's and 30's are wanders because they dont know who they are in Christ, so its like we go after anything that sounds and look good, but there is one path that is for you that is God's path and the only way to find that out is to search him out in prayer, knowing the word of God, and waiting. We hate that word wait but waiting on his promises for your life is so worth it, it's like a pearl with a great price.
A generation relentlessly going after GOD in intimacy through prayer.

This message really made me think of all the times in my past where I have tried to take control of my life and failed terribly. I tried to create my own plans and do things my own way but that is not how it works. God's plan is pristine and flawless. We have to place our faith on God and let Him direct us in the right path. Satan pops in and out of our lifes sometimes without us even knowing he was even there, and we don't notice because we have lost focus on God and His will for our lives. The message has completely changed my mindset on life...I don't have to worry about it cause God has already taken care of it for me!

Big UPS to AVERY!

Postby diadrane on Thu Feb 28, 2008 10:31 am

The message last night was right on time! Avery was so passionate about the message that God clearly revealed to all of us that, GOD is all we need. No matter the circumstance, no matter how impatient we grow, no matter how we want to try to be the answer to our own problems, no matter what the future holds. God has already designed a plan, not just any plan, and a distinctive plan for each and every one of us and we must prepare ourselves for the LORD’S calling for our lives. Sometimes we grab hold of the wrong things that were deceptions from the devil and not apart of Gods plan for our lives at all. THE devil hates each and every one of us and he wants nothing more than to destroy our faith and our overall relationship with Christ. We have to let go of the things that keep us in bondage and trust that GOD is all we need.

AMEN BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN DID I NEED THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the midst of your struggle, remember your Father up above and rejoice

I think you all hit it on the head - we can't do it ourselves.

Good message Avery!

All I can say is "Right On Time".

That message was true, deep, empowering, eye-opening, compassionate, uplifting, etc. I can go on and on.

When I tell you that Fusion last night was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo onpoint. God is so awesome. I was anticipating the message after the Band prayed the walls down before we went to usher in the Holy Spirit. I mean we could have kept praying and praying. It let me know that everything that we needed whether healing, deliverance, a breakthrough... it was there! All we have to do is reach up and grab it.

The worship was great and just to look out among the fusion crowd and see everyone with their hands lifted high in total surrender, was so uplifting and a sight to see.

I was so anxious and hungry for the word. And when the word came... I couldn't help but feel like a kid in a candy store.

The word was right at me, about me, to me; I mean coming from all different directions. I loved the part where Avery said that We all want the knockoffs, but we dont want to pay the price for the real thing. Soooo true. Also when he said that we may not know why God has us walking in this direction or why we are at this job (my situation) , but JUST KEEP WALKING! KEEP WALKING! KEEP WALKING.

MAN OL MAN!

Thank you so much Avery for that word. It was much needed in my life and I thank God that he gave you that word to deliver to His people. I was telling one of my friends that missed fusion last night about the message and they didnt hear nothing that I said, bc i was so amped and pumped and excited about what God is doing, that I was pretty much yelling over the phone and speaking in declaration.

I'm still in awe of how great God is.

I agree with everyone and with just everything that I've been hearing all around. And that is that Avery's message was on point and on time. Which is good because hearing him say he's had it on his heart for like a year now meant trouble if the Lord said it was time for it to come out. But it was a divine appointment thing and that's really what makes it all good.

It just goes with so much that has been going on I suppose in my own life. And, hearing everything and what not really was good. The enemy has somewhat of an Idea of the Lords plan for my life and His goal is to prevent me from fulfilling that plan. And I think it's not even because of us. I think satan really wants to make us not fulfull our purpose because he knows how much it hurts God. It's like God worked out this amazing plan even before our great great grandparents were born and has this AMAZING plan and then satan comes and steals that dream away... I could imagine the hurt that the Lord would feel... But praise the Lord for not giving up on us. For saying that even though we may have missed his perfect plan, He still can rerout and redeploy things in our life in order to get us back on track. That kind of love is really unmatched to any other you know. So God is good... God is so good.

The arrows are in the air, the blessings and promises of the Lord are coming, and all we need to do it wait, be patient, and hold our ground against the enemy and we will recieve it.

I agree with everyone. From the worship to the message..I kinda did not want to go home..just wanted to stay in the room in the rich , deep presence of God. It was a spirit fillled message that totally enlightened me on how satan tries to sabotage the great plans that God has for us. Leaving the room that night , I had and still have confidence that God will fulfill his plan for my life. Also , the part of the message that got me thinking was how we all have unique struggles- the areas that we constantly face challengesin and that we are tempted in. It did make sense, and it got me thinking.... the fact that we have different struggles is a blessing, because then, as we fellowhsip and share our lives with each other, we can pray for each other, uplift each other and overcome the enemy to ensure that God'd plan is fulfilled in each of us!
