When: Saturday night, April 5th
Where: Downtown Atlanta, www.safehouseoutreach.org
What: Feeding the homeless - taking Jesus to the streets!

details: You can either meet at the Davis' house after V1's Saturday night service (at 8:30 p.m.) or, meet at SafeHouse at 10:30 p.m.

We'll be assembling sack lunches to take out with us. Come hang out before we head out! If you wanna help, please R.S.V.P. and sign up to bring any of the following items:

-bread
-peanut butter (we have plenty of jelly)
-canned sodas
-chips
-cookies, or some other "treat"
-plastic grocery bags (from Wal-Mart, Publix, etc...)

Other items needed are:
-toiletries, such as: washcloths, soap, razors, shave cream, toothbrush, etc...
-clothing items, such as: socks, shoes, anything you haven't worn in awhile!!!
-anything else you have/want to bring!

Hey Lauren I think you forgot something else that you were talking about bringing...

I have some clothes that don't often see daylight someone will be looking quite fly. Plus I have an infinite supply of hugs that I need to make use of.

You guys might see me there, I love SafeHouse Outreach especially the Prayer Walks they do. I got some really cute clothes to give away too. So just be on the look out for me, it is still in the air.

Hey everyone! Thank all of you so much for everything you brought out. There was an abundance of supplies and I know you were able to bless many.

Share your stories! What was it like, what kind of people did you run into, how has it impacted you? And, would you do it again???

Sitting on the sidelines is hard! I missed serving with you guys, but I look forward to being out there next time!

They do this every Saturday. you're welcome to join anytime. You'd just have to meet them at the Safehouse at 10:30, unless the Davis' decide to do it like they did it this weekend.
