I just want to reitterate that passion isn't about how loud you pray, it's about the way you live. Some of the loudest and most 'showy' christians are some of the biggest hypocrites. I once heard a man say, "The more you flaunt your faith, the less i believe it." I understand that there are times when God moves you out of your box, I just don't think we should lable someone as being afraid just because they don't jump, shout, scream, kick, and twirl.

I understand where you're coming from... but we know people on both side of the fence. We know the jumping, kicking, screaming, knelling before the Lord worshiper who couldn't serve God for more than 7 days in a row... and we know the quiet, sometimes seated, reserved worshiper who walked with the Lord everyday of their lives.

The point is... what's on the outside doesn’t matter nearly as much as what’s on the inside. Thank God He see the heart.

For me, I think it's simply an obedience to what God is trying to do.
Sometimes God is revealing Himself to revive us & I think lots of times that calls for us to get up & get crunk!
Other times, God is convicting us of sin to purge that crap out of our lives...that might call for us to get on our faces.
Maybe God is wanting to reveal Himself & put some fear of the Lord in us...that might make us cry out in agony or ball our eyes out.
Sometimes God wants to heal us which might look like standing there dead still.
Other times God is...

Sometimes God is heavy & serious in the room, other times God is light & exciting in the room.

Sometimes God makes you want to run, other times to be still.

I know personalities & personal experiences play into it, but I think the bottom line is being obedient to what God is calling you to do in that moment. Listening to Him, being attentive to what His Spirit is doing, not doing things in disorder during a service, etc.
