I found this post LAAATE...
But from someone who is immersed in the music industry as a career, here are a few things you may not know. (I'm studying to become an Audio Engineer at the Art Institute)

There are artists who were literally high on drugs for DAYS trying to come up with the lyrics and the beats that we find so infectious.

A musician acquaintance of mine informed me that at some record labels, Sony is the one he mentioned, after the team produces a record they worship satan to make the record sell better.(R&B songs yall)

One song that I know of in particular it's old school "i wanna sex u up" that group Color me Badd... actually invited a spirit of promiscuity into the recording session. Their purpose "so that you girls would lose their virginity to this song"
More here... it is an 1:47 mins long but it will truly open your eyes.

Here is what I know for sure about music in general: It is created for a purpose, and it sets the atmosphere.
Praise sets an atmosphere that invites the Lords presence.
Ludacris seems to like a Lust inviting atmosphere
Alicia keys seems to like lo loneliness
Linkin Park has made alot of money from confusion
Jay-Z thinks so much of himself that he refers to himself as J-hova in a song
This list can go on for quite a while

Basically if it's not inviting the Spirit of the Lord then what spirit is it inviting
I wouldn't do it if I didn't love you.

Come On Jesus! It is what it is and I hope that this revelation will come real to believers what you put in wil manifest outwardly. And personaly I dont listen to alot of secular music because of what it can do to your thinking and the words that you are agreeing to if it isnt truth I cant do it.
A generation relentlessly going after GOD in intimacy through prayer.
