Luke 7:41-47

41 [Jesus said]"Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii,[d] and the other fifty. 42Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?"
43Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled."
"You have judged correctly," Jesus said.
44Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."

Is it possible that those who haven’t sinned “as much” have a limited capacity for love?

you think limited? or the ones who have "sinned more" can have a better understanding of the magnitude of God's forgiveness.

I was thinking about this recently. I think what Jesus was really saying was that we are all horrible sinners deserving death & hell...BUT we have been forgiven. If we really grasp the depth of our forgiveness (i.e.-forgiven much) then we will love God greatly. But, in our own pride, if we believe that the stuff we've done wasn't "that bad" (i.e.-forgiven little) then our love for God will be limited by that misunderstanding.
So, I don't know...it's probably symantics, but I do think people can be limited by a lack of revelation of how sinful they are. But those who have "sinned more" and therefore been "forgiven more" do have a better understanding of God's love & forgiveness and therefore love God in return more.
But I think everyone has the potential capacity to love God the same. Because we have all been forgiven an incredible debt (i.e.-all of us have been forgiven much).
