in all honesty, i think if i grew up in another country then i would have grown up another religion (while i was young), but eventually i would have no choice but to choose Jesus. i know that God has been pursuing me since i was younger. i didn't grow up in the church. when i had to go to church with my grandmother i had no idea what the pastor was saying through all his sweat and screaming. i had no idea who God was but God gave me a weird desire to know Him even when I didn’t know Him. i didn't know what it was that i was searching for all my life but it was Him. He saved my life twice when i should have died as a child through car accidents. He pursued me through all the drugs and danger that consumed my family’s life and my environment. the only way that i can explain why i got saved is that God put a strong desire for me to know Him in me from birth. i went to victory without my parents because i just had to quench the desire in my heart for this God that i didn't know. so that is what i meant when i said that i probably would have been going through the motions of another religion as a child but would have found God because He wanted me.

If I was born in another country I would more than likely be whatever religion that my parent/guardians were.
I "believe" the gospels because it's something that I've been taught and study. The more I study, the less I believe the Bible. I know it's not the cookie-cutter answer you're probably were expecting, but if you half-way know me than you shouldn't be surprised.

Hey Keisha...I wasn't expecting a cookie cutter answer and no one's given one so far, so thanks for not feeling like you had to give one either.

However, I would like to hear a little more from you about
The more I study, the less I believe the Bible.

Obviously, if you're sitting in church every week & Fusion on Wednesdays, you are getting scripture (this thing you are believing less & less) thrown at you constantly. So I would really be interested to hear a little more from you about what's going on with your faith & your line of thinking on this. Thanks.
