"Today's Seed" - Feb. 6, 2009


The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on
those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are
outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who
through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God,
cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may
serve the living God! (Heb 9:13-14 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, I may feel bound by shame and condemnation, but the
truth is that You have already made me clean and free before You.
It is not that I will have freedom one day. I have it right now.
But that is almost more than I can comprehend. Help me realize it,
walk in the joy of it, and reject the feelings that would still hold
me captive if I let them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
