"Today's Seed" - Mar. 11, 2009


It was now about noon of the day of preparation for the Passover.
And Pilate said to the people, "Here is your king!" "Away with
him," they yelled. "Away with him--crucify him!" "What? Crucify your
king?" Pilate asked. "We have no king but Caesar," the leading
priests shouted back. Then Pilate gave Jesus to them to be
crucified. So they took Jesus and led him away. (John 19:14-16 NLT)

Prayer: LORD, give me strength to stand firm against popular
opinion when necessary. Agreeing with the majority's opinion is not
always the right thing to do. I want to stand for You, even if I
stand alone. Give me courage to be unwavering and not give in to
the crowd, regardless of consequences or what anyone else thinks or
says about it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
